However, limited literature exists on feedback literacy in the context of dental hygiene education, warranting further investigation. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a feedback literacy course presented to undergraduate dental hygiene students. The research design was a randomized control trial comprising a convenience sample of 65 dental hygiene students. The Feedback Literacy Scale was used in a pre/post-test design. All participants took a pre-test in the fall semester of 2024 and early in the spring semester of 2025. The experimental group completed a feedback literacy module consisting of an in-person feedback workshop, an online resource center, and a follow-up in-person refresher course. Statistical analysis of the data was completed to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention in increasing feedback literacy in dental hygiene students.
