In Pakistan, the current early child education system falls short of meeting the evolving needs of the country (Ministry of Education, 2009). Studies affirm early development significantly contributes to successful entry into formal schooling, improved academic performance, and eventual achievements in adulthood (Morgan, 2011; Murtaza, 2011). Researchers have demonstrated the positive effects of the Preschool Life Skills (PLS) program in increasing school readiness skills and decreasing problem behavior for young children across different settings and populations (Hanley et al., 2007; Hanley et al., 2014); however, there is limited research on training parents to implement the PLS program. The current study systematically replicated Johnson et al. (in preparation) to train three parents from Pakistan to implement PLS 1 with their children using remote video modeling and video modeling with feedback. Similar to Johnson et al. (in preparation), video modeling with feedback was necessary for parents to achieve mastery criteria. Additionally, parents were able to implement two novel PLS skills at a higher level as compared to baseline, and two of the three children mastered PLS 1. These findings suggest parents can be trained to implement PLS 1 remotely with video modeling and feedback.
